Thanksgiving Turkey Smokeout 2025

In an amazing display of community spirit and generosity, the Guy Fieri Foundation worked with the Redwood Gospel Mission, Salvation Army, Sonoma County Fire District, and Nations Finest Veterans Group to serve Thanksgiving meals to over 7,000 families for their respective organizations. This huge effort took five days of preparation and involved nearly 10,000 pounds of turkey, all made possible by the dedication of 200 volunteers from the community.

The Sonoma County Fairgrounds provided the perfect setting for this large-scale operation, with essential support from Birite and Chef House Rentals, who supplied the necessary equipment and facilities. The event was a true community effort, showcasing the power of collaboration and the spirit of giving.

Leading the way in the kitchen were renowned chefs Dustin Valette, Crista Luedtke, Bobby Marcotte, Cesar Orozco, and Duskie Estes and John Stewart. Their expertise and leadership were instrumental in preparing the delicious meals that brought comfort to thousands of families.
